its with Nutella aint it...gosh help me! anything with Nutella and chocolate heaven plus heaven. i can survive just on this one...trust me!

caracola - thanks for your comments! good to see there are fellow chocoholics here. by the way, i would love to visit malaga someday - have only visited barcelona and madrid. i especially loved barcelona - i get really hungry thinking about all the yummy tapas!

lisa - yeah, i totally know what you mean. i can never stop at just one spoonful of nutella...

Hi J - I must say your site is absolutely beautiful! and I had to leave a comment here because this cake has been my favourite for a long time! I just found your blog and I had to comment on this early entry because I too have an affinity for dessert and Pierre Herme, and I'm thrilled to find others! I actually tried to make a full size one for a pastry school project, you can see the pictures on my flickr page.
